LD and LB came to hang out and go fishing. We had a relaxing afternoon, waiting for the sun to be a little more forgiving. The air was warm, the water fresh, the fish difficult. But almost like clockwork, the fish heard it was 8:30 and time to go home when LB caught little Stipey McGee. Rosie wanted to bring him home but we decided the lake was a better place for ol Stripey. Rosie said her goodbyes (he was a good fish) and released him back in. On the way home we were reflecting on our day. "I didnt catch a fish. LB caught a fish....I got seaweed." Fun times.
Haven't been with Rosie since she was a crawler! It was a little crazy with summer camps running around but it was fun!

The most mesmerizing carousel room:
Rosie singing "Lets go to the movies" and reinacting the scene from Annie where Ms. Farrell throws her head back while getting ready. Picked that one up on her own:
After two long days working on the garage, we joined friends in San José for a potluck picnic. We played with blocks, cornhole, frisbee, and caught up with friends.
Had a long day working on the garage. Luckily we had Vavô, Vavó, and cousin AL to help, spend time, and entertain Rosie. Ended the evening with a well-earned trip to In-N-Out.
This morning Rosie woke up talking about going to a costume party. She said she wanted to go to her closet and get a princess dress like Cinderella. As a former Tom boy, I'm grateful Rosie has her auntie and cousins who can give her her princess fix! She is well loved.
Dropped Ba at the airport. It is always hard to say bye but this one was a little easier since we'll be heading east in just a couple weeks! Miss you Ba!
