DaddyO and Rosie had what sounded like an overall successful flight to DC.

And then it was reunion time! I was in class but was kept in the loop with cute photos throughout the night and got some awwwws from classmates. In addition to the cuteness overload, it made me smile to receive different angled shots of the same moment, in true baby paparazzi style. Here are some highlights:

It is hard to not be with everyone in Takoma Park but I will soon be joining the fun! I had an interesting day flying solo. I didn't do anything unusual. Or productive, really. But where I felt the difference was having the feeling of Rosie just being in the other room or about to wake up from her nap. I didn't realize until today that I am subconsciously always ready to be interrupted. And I couldn't ask for a better interruption than Rosie. But today was completely at my own pace, for good and for bad. I realize now that it'll be important to carve out more uninterrupted time for myself, so I can flip the rest of the day to be purely Rosie time with hopefully few interruptions. Much in the way that DaddyO gets me out on evening walks (instead of my Hulu-marathon), Rosie connects us with the real world, and I love her for that.
