Camping

Our first camping trip! Went to Del Valle for a friend's birthday. Rosie was made for camping. She loved the tent and sitting by the fire. She kept asking whether it was time to go to sleep (there's a first). She fell asleep easily. Through the night, though, was a little rougher. But not bad for the first night out. Rosie didn't want to leave.

Dentist w Daddy. Everything looks good! Rosie got to watch part of the Polar Express and got her new Belle toothbrush. Win!

First haircut!

After three and a half years, the time had come for Rosie's first haircut. She was reluctant leading up to it but was a rockstar.

It was a sunny day in Monterey yesterday so we met up with friends and had a picnic on the beach. We snacked, Rosie napped, we climbed.


Walking around Cannery Row. DaddyO was explaining to Rosie that Monterey was known for canning and Rosie asked, "what's a can?" It was kinda nice thy Rosie didn't know that word!


For dinner we headed up to San Jose where we brought our friends to Thien Long. Always fun to introduce our friends to new dishes. Afterward we couldn't resist a stop to Bambū. Rosie had che on her mind (wahwah):

Rainy day called for a trip to the movies for Rosie's first theater experience! Frozen was a big hit (for all of us)

Pizza date night

Rosie had a date night with auntie Na while we went out to a school event. They made pizzas, did some ooh la la beauty toes, and cuddled. So good.

Frozen music video

Our house has been on a Frozen kick. We haven't seen the movie yet but have definitely listened to all the songs. Rosie has really taken to "Let It Go." Last night we had fun putting together a music video. It was cool to see how much Rosie remembered from the video, including lyrics I didn't realize she knew! Here's a little iMovie fun I had. Note: she was just listening to the song, not watching the video.
