Last day of preschool

Rosie had her goodbye circle at school today. They started with friends and teachers sharing favorite Rosie memories and telling her they will miss her. Then they tightened up the circle and sang "Make New Friends but Keep the Old," which was punctuated with a "We love you Rosie!" Finally, they played the cups song as she called one friend at a time to come up, give her a hug, and enjoy a Popsicle treat.

Rosie has had an awesome year at Heads Up. She loves her teachers and made good friends. She'd come home using impressive vocabulary, singing new songs, reading books, more confident each day, and almost always smiling.

She has been excited about summer break, but I know she'll miss Room 8!

Flowers

Rosie picked out flowers for Vavó from the store and was very eager to bring them to her to cheer her up.

Rosie dressed herself today and then came into my room saying she needed Daddy to ask him about her outfit.

Life has been pretty busy these last weeks so it has been nice having quiet nights at home. Yesterday I found myself just staring at Rosie and enjoying her dynamic personality. She's grown into such a funny and caring little person.
