At the park
Rosie: Mommy, you're the baby. And I'm the pretend mommy. And Daddy's daddy. And you're going to sleep and Daddy and I go on a date.

Poem
Fashion by Auntie Na
On Rosie and Auntie Na's date night this week, there was some amazing fashion by mayhem. So appreciative that Rosie can spend time with Autie Na. Hoping one of the many things Rosie picks up from her aunt will be her creativity!

Small moments
The other day Rosie spent a lot of time on homework. A lot. I was impressed with the skills she could use in her workbook. Connect the dots, comparing and contrasting, copying pictures, tracing.

Then we had a dance party. Tiana in the house.

The Dairy! Yumm.

Saw this outside Rosie's school morning.

Rosie made friends while at Old Navy. She was excited to pose with them.

Yes, sweatshirt is on backwards.

Rosie noticed her friends were not looking at the camera.

I suspect...
Conversation from yesterday.
Rosie: DAD! I drew a treehouse. And then it faded. It's gone!
DaddyO: Yeah? What do you think happened to it?
Rosie: I suspect a dragon. Or a fairy!
Mom: A fairy came to visit and didn't say hello? That's too bad. Though fairies usually don't want to be seen.
Rosie: Why?
Mom: Well, if people saw the fairies they might...
Rosie: ...capture them?
Mom: That's right. Rosie, your vocabulary is getting really strong.
DaddyO: That means you know more and more words.
Rosie: My brain's getting stronger?
DaddyO: Thats right.
Rosie: It's growing stronger and stronger and bigger and bigger!

Unconditional
Last night at bedtime...
Rosie: I love you.
Me: I love you.
Rosie: when I'm grumpy?
Me: of course! I love you when you're happy, I love you when you're grumpy.
Rosie: when I'm sad?
Me: I love you when you're sad. I love you all the time.
[pause]
Rosie: I'm going to live in this house forever and ever and ever!
