Back in July, while in Delaware, we put Rosie to the test a la Paul the Octopus. On 2 cups I wrote "boy" and "girl" to see which Rosie would be drawn to. It's hard to see, but on her left is the girl up, on her right the boy cup. Here was her prediction:
This morning we got a delightful call from Uncle M and Auntie A confirming Rosie's prediction! We're going to have a new nephew! I had a feeling the two of them might be in cahoots, as evidenced by this photo taken a month later:
Seriously, first she's UConn's good luck charm on their championship run and then she predicts her cousin's gender... watch out world! This little lady has some serious mojo!
ReplyDeleteAlso, how I remember it is like this: TCCML came about one new year's when we were in NJ and we singing songs with Thuy Anh on the keyboard and we decided to call Tien in Berkeley to sing her a song. When she picked up she said, "ooh! can you guys sing me Moon River?!" And that's the song we had already picked out and was opened up on the keyboard ready to go. And thus began the TCCML... does that sound right?
ReplyDeleteYes!!!! That's exactly how it was! It was amazing; I remember very clearly everyone's surprised and delighted faces when Tien said, "Moon River," and there it was on the piano, the song we had decided to sing for her!! Also, I think we named our band TCCML after we managed to stop laughing (on both coasts) long enough to breathe and sing:) We (Mich and I) are SO excited that it is getting passed on to the next generation!!! ALSO: EEEEE MINH AND AIMEEEEEE:)<3
