We had a great start to the new year. We slept in a bit then met up with Baby P and her parents for a hike at Alum Rock Park. It started off a little chilly but the sun came out to play and we were soon basking in the sun while admiring the glorious view of the bay. Rosie missed the view since she was fast asleep on DaddyO's back.

We then totally negated the hike by having a tasty and filling lunch at Thien Long, followed by boba tea.
Once home DaddyO set up his office in the front lawn on a picnic blanket. Both he and Rosie got straight to work; DaddyO on his laptop, Rosie on her xylophone, balloons, and leaf-eating.
Mom and Rosie want for a wagon ride around the block, during which we ran into 2 kids in a matching wagon. We revved our engines in attempt to drag race with them down the street but they were chicken ;) Got to
FaceTime with the east coast family (happy birthday Ba Ngoai!). Wish we could have joined you all in the Lê family fun!
We ended our evening with a visit from Vavô and Vavó, who played with us and took us out to a tasty dinner at Tomato Thyme. Rosie danced, laughed, and gave sweet kisses for her Vavôs.
A full and long day!
(fell asleep before we could put on her pjs!)
