Bedtime miracle
Today we said bye to DaddyO who is on a school trip until Thursday. We had a calm day together with a trip to a sandy park to meet friends after a long afternoon nap. Then we facetimed with DaddyO (so sweet to see her excitement seeing his face) and with Baby J, Auntie A, and Uncle M. Then something amazing happened: Rosie totally rocked bedtime! I'd been talking to DaddyO about establishing a better sleep routine and Rosie must have overheard. Tonight was the first time in a while that she didn't get upset when I put her in the crib awake. We're off to a good start!

woohooo--such a big girl!
ReplyDeleteOne of the highlights of the night was the super-concerned look on Rosie's face when she saw Jacob was crying over facetime. Already such a good big cousin!
