Birthday Mama

Took a half day from work, and we headed north for a weekend getaway. First stop was Walker Creek where we visited auntie Mi at her work. The highlight was the amazing garden where we snacked on tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, and edible flowers. It was awesome seeing Rosie try everything. Reinforced our desire to start a veggie garden at home.





















Then we contied our journey to Guerneville and met up with three friends, MC, KP, and G. The cabin is tucked away among redwood trees, only a few minutes from the Russian River and the ocean. We enjoyed a delicious pumpkin chocolate cake from auntie Na. Today we spend a sunny and hot day on Goat Rock Beach. A breathtaking spot.
