- During the I-love-you-more-than game: "I love you more solid than bricks!"
- Having a hard time falling asleep, she yells from her bedroom to try and get our attention: "I want mommy...I love her so much...because she's so beautiful!"
- After Rosie said she wanted a camel for a pet, we explained that cleaning up after it would not be fun. Which led into a talk about poop (naturally). Rosie: "what about porcupine poop?" DaddyO: "what's porcupine poop like?" Rosie: "spiky poop"
- During meal times we have been trying to get Rosie to appreciate the role of food. So she often hears us tell her she needs to eat protein to help make her strong and grow. Rosie was quite unhappy with the situation and said, "I don't want to eat protein. I don't want to grow. I want to stay SMALL!" To which Mom and Dad teared up, gave hugs, and told her she would always be out little one.
- During mealtime at the counter, Rosie spontaneously told us "I think we should change around the house." Me:" Yeah? What would you want to do?" Rosie then went through a laundry list of changes, including flipping the kitchen back to the dining room, putting the dining room by the front door, her bedroom by the Christmas tree, and our bedroom on the dining room floor. She's already got make-over home edition on her mind. Like father like daughter!
