Mt. Diablo and library

On Sunday we went to Mt. Diablo for a morning hike. It was, well, hot! Rosie was struggling a bit from until she finally fell asleep and Mommy was struggling a bit until we decided to turn back. We may have to attempt it again in the winter or in the wee hours of the morning. It did have amazing views.





On Monday we went to the Pleasanton Library where the biggest hit was the play kitchen. Rosie was really enamored with it and spent most the time cooking ("Cook!" "Soup!" she would exclaim) and washing her hands with the fake bar of soap.






She is beginning to learn sharing and will protest but often ends up changing her mind after some gentle persuasion. We're excited the library is so close. Next visit: books!
