Happy birthday Uncle M!

Yesterday was a full day of birthday celebration for Uncle Minh. Auntie A, being very in-tune with what delights Rosie, created multiple opportunities for singing happy birthday to Uncle M. The morning started off with a birthday eclair, during which we got to witness Rosie's true kindness and awareness of others.

After singing "happy birthday":

...Rosie turned to her uncle, put her hand on his arm, and urged him to "Blow!" This, coming from a birthday candle fanatic, was a very strong gesture of love:

When Uncle M asked for help she of course was willing to assist!:

And afterward kept a watchful eye to make sure she wasn't going to get cheated out of a piece of her first eclair:

The day before Rosie helped Auntie A make a special treat, a tasty fruit tart. All day she would whisper "Special!" and lead anyone nearby to the kitchen and instruct them lift her up to see the masterpiece that was stored above the fridge. The time had then come for the midday birthday celebration with more aunties:

But what endes up being even more special than The Special was baby J's gift to his dad: "Dadadadadada!"

The evening birthday celebration consisted of a surprise birthday guitar serenade from Ba Ngoai in Vietnam:

We are so excited we could spend such the special day with Uncle M!
