Nurturer

Yesterday we went to Happy Hollow and hung out with friends J, G, and G(oats). Rosie really enjoyed trying to feed and groom the goats:

Super pleasant surprise was getting to touch and see up close a hedgehog! A first for Rosie and mommy:


At home, doctor Rosie came to the rescue for Daddy's hurt knee. She was eager to apply ice:

This morning we went to the last event in a workshop at the library. We had a blast with a Music Together teacher who was very enthusiastic and bonkers (in the best way). She gave us a nice reminder that play should be kid-chosen, isn't results-oriented, and that the best age to engage in play is...every age! So we danced around, sang songs, made silly noises, and made music (turns out an ice cube tray and ladle make an awesome washboard sound).

Now Rosie's fast asleep in the stroller and seems to be having sweet dreams:
