Both flights went well. The first one Rosie slept like a champ and was very sweet. We also kicked out and had great seat mates. In the second flight the travel karma kicked in because we got the whole row to ourselves! It was like some higher being knew I was traveling solo with Rosie and took pity in us. At the airport Rosie recognized Ba Ngoai and Di T immediately and started waving her hands and legs in excitement. She went into their arms without hesitation.
When we got back to the house we had a midnight snack with OngBa, Di T, and A. Ba Ngoai's specialty: bun bo! It was Rosie's first bowl ever and she devoured it.
Then she had a good laughin session with Ong Ngoai. She didn't want to leave his arms:
It was very special to see Rosie with everyone. And now it's passed our bedtime (even for west coast time). More fun to come!
