Rocky Neck beach
It hit the high 90s today in CT so we headed directly to the beach. It was a perfect beach day where it wasn't totally sweltering and the water was cool, refreshing, but still totally swimmable. This little fish was beside herself. Right when we got there she took my hand and we headed to the water. First contact with the Atlantic definitely stopped me in my tracks but Rosie wasn't phased. She would have kept on walking neck-deep if I didn't stop her. She was totally content playing wih herself in the sand, searching for shells, bringing water to and from. She also tried to make some friends and was a helpful hand in their sand creations. One boy in particular was really sweet and played with us for a while. He shared his dump truck and demonstrated, with gusto, how a hovercraft moves from water to land and back again. We played ring around a Rosie with Ba Ngoai in the water and got a lot of giggles when we "all fall down" into the water. Needless to say, the ride home was a very quiet one :)
