Landed in Takoma Park

In the wee hours of the morning Daddy drove me and Rosie to the airport to catch our flight to Baltimore to visit Uncle M, Auntie A, and cousin JCL.

I decided to try and take the carseat on the plane which was okay for Rosie sleeping but bad as far as design. Good thing Rosie's legs are short and could fit in rear-facing. We had good luck with seat mates. Our first mate had to rush with us from gate to gate to make our connecting flight (just in time). Our second mate was very quiet but very understanding and compassionate, which ended up being key since Rosie got sick during the flight. First time using the sick bags (and many of them). I won't go into all the fun details, but I will say Rosie was such a trooper during the whole thing. We were so happy to get off the plane to be greeted by a napping JCL and Uncle M. Being sick called for much cuddling.

Rosie recovered quickly and was soon laughing and joking with her cousin. I, on the other hand, remain nauseous as I write this after spending the evening in and out if consciousness on the couch. Through the haze, though, I was very happy to hear Rosie play with family. Including, of course, dance party!
